[Korrespondent] Ukrainian Armed Forces Contain Russian Attacks in Southern and Eastern Ukraine.
The hottest areas are the Kurakhovsky and Pokrovsky directions, where the Russians have already organized more than 30 assaults.
Since the beginning of the day, more than 70 combat clashes have occurred on the front. The hottest ones are in the Kurakhovsky and Pokrovsky directions, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in a report as of 16:00 on Friday, September 27.
Thus, in the Kharkov direction, Russian aggressors twice attempted to attack in the Volchansk area.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy actively advanced six times in the areas of Sinkovka, Novoselovka, Glushkovka, Kruglyakovka and Lozovaya. Four combat clashes are still ongoing.
In the Liman direction, the invaders carried out six attacks near Grekovka, Makeyevka, Nevsky and Novosadovo. Four combat clashes ended.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy made three assaults near Grigorovka and Stupochki. All attacks were repelled.
In the Toretsk direction, the Russians tried to push our units out of their positions near Toretsk, Shcherbanovka and New York. The defense forces repelled two attacks, three combat clashes are ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy organized 19 assaults in the areas of Vozdvizhenka, Novotoretskoye, Nikolaevka, Grodovka, Lisovka, Krutoy Yar, Dachinskoye, Marinovka and Selidovo. The Ukrainian Armed Forces have already repelled 15 attacks.
In the Kurakhovsky direction, fighting continues near Tsukurino, Georgievka, Konstantinovka and Katerinovka. Thirteen attacks have been repelled during the day, four are still ongoing.
In the Vremevsky direction, our troops repelled five attacks in the direction of Ugledar, Bogoyavlenka, Vodyanoye and Katerinovka. Three more attacks are ongoing, attempts to advance have not brought success to the enemy.
In the Gulyai-Polye and Orekhov directions, the occupiers made one unsuccessful attempt to attack near Novodarovka and Malye Shcherbaki.
In the Dnieper direction, the enemy carried out two unsuccessful assaults.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Armed Forces showed on video the destruction of a column of armored vehicles and infantry of the Russian Federation near Kupyansk. In total, 23 units of equipment were stopped and destroyed.
