[Korrespondent] Ukrainian Armed Forces Contain Russian Attacks in Southern and Eastern Ukraine.
Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters repelled dozens of attacks in the area of ​​Pokrovsk and Kurakhovo. The situation remains tense.
Since the beginning of the current day, 106 combat clashes have occurred on the front. The situation remains tense in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhovsky directions, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in a report as of 16:00 on Thursday, September 26.
Thus, in the Kharkov direction, two armed clashes occurred in the Volchansk region.
There were 18 battles in the Kupyansk direction. The enemy carried out offensive actions near Glushkovka, Kolesnikovka and Stelmakhovka. Five attacks are currently ongoing.
In the Liman direction, 11 combat clashes occurred near Grekovka, Nevsky, Novosadovy and Torsky. Three enemy attacks are currently ongoing.
In the Seversky direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces stopped four Russian assaults near Belogorovka, Spornoye and Verkhnekamenskoye, where one battle is currently taking place.
Eight clashes took place in the Kramatorsk direction. The invaders tried to storm the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Minkovka, Grigoryevka and Belaya Gora. Two attacks are still ongoing.
In the Toretsk direction, the Russians tried to displace the Ukrainian Armed Forces from positions near Toretsk, Shcherbinovka and Leonidovka. Three combat clashes have been completed, four are ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy carried out 26 assaults in the areas of the settlements of Zelenoe Pole, Nikolaevka, Lisovka, Kruty Yar, Novogrodovka, Selidovo and Marinovka. The defense forces repelled 24 attacks, two battles are ongoing.
In the Kurakhovsky direction, the invaders attacked 23 times near Tsukurino, Zhelanny Vtoroy, Georgievka, Nikolaevka, Paraskoveevka, Konstantinovka and Yekaterinovka. 18 attempts to advance were repelled, five are still ongoing.
In the Vremivsky direction, the enemy attacked five times near Vodyanoye, Yekaterinovka and Bogoyavlenie. Four battles have been completed, one is ongoing.
In the Orekhov direction, two clashes took place in the Rabotino area. The enemy had no success.
Let us recall that on September 25, another 1,400 occupiers were "minus" killed and wounded on the front. Russia's total losses since the beginning of the war are approaching 650 thousand people.
