White House says US-led int’l ceasefire call ‘coordinated with Israel’

[GEO.TV] The US White House has insisted that a US-led international ceasefire call in Leb
...an Iranian satrapy currently ruled by Hassan Nasrallah situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozen flavors of Christians, plus Armenians, Georgians, and who knows what else? It is the home of the original Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. was ''coordinated'' with Israel as their military continued its strikes in the region after rejecting the call for a truce.

#3  Or I could be wrong. I’m not good at politics in general, and Israeli politics is like that only cubed

#2  It appears to me that the White House, et al were pushing hard on Bibi to shut down the war — but not on Hezbollah — and ignoring Bibi’s objections, as they’ve been doing all along. So when Hezbollah was not interested unless operations in Gaza were also shut down, and the other parties in and out of government — even Lapid said the proposal is unacceptable — Bibi found a way to say it strongly enough that Kamala’s team could no longer ignore it.

Or I could be wrong. I’m not good at politics in general, and Israeli politics is like that only cubed
