“The Russian pilots, having demonstrated high professionalism, promptly took the necessary measures to prevent a collision,” he added.

Ignasyuk emphasized that with such actions the “coalition” continues to create dangerous conditions for air accidents and exacerbates the situation in Syrian airspace.
According to the information provided by the Center for Strategic and Inter-Agency Cooperation, seven cases of violations by the “coalition” of the provisions of the deconfliction protocols of December 9, 2019, related to drone flights not coordinated with Russia, were recorded in one day.
As reported by the Regnum news agency, earlier in September, Russian troops repelled an attempted attack by militants in the Syrian province of Idlib and killed one terrorist. The sabotage and reconnaissance group intended to penetrate the positions of Syrian government forces in the Maaret al-Ulia region.
On August 23, the Russian Aerospace Forces destroyed three locations in Syria where militants had left the At-Tanf zone and taken refuge in hard-to-reach areas of the Syrian White Desert.
