[Korrespondent] Ukrainian Armed Forces Contain Russian Attacks in Eastern and Southern Ukraine.
Russian aggressors carried out 25 assaults in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhovsk directions. The Ukrainian Armed Forces have already repelled most of the attacks.
Since the beginning of the current day, 83 combat clashes have occurred on the front in eight directions. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a report as of 16:00 on Tuesday, September 24.
Thus, in the Kharkov direction, the enemy is trying to storm the area of ​​Volchansk. The Russians also attacked residential areas of Kharkov with UABs.
In the Kupyansk direction, the Russians attacked seven times in the areas of Andreyevka, Lozovaya and Stelmakhovka. Two clashes are still ongoing.
In the Liman direction, the invading army carried out 15 attacks during the day near the settlements of Druzhelyubovka, Grekovka, Cherneshchina, Nevskoye, Torskoye and Novosadovo. Ten battles have ended, five more are ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled nine attacks by Russian invaders near Minkovka, Kalinovka, Belaya Gora and Stupochki. Five enemy assaults are still ongoing.
In the Toretsk direction, the aggressor tried seven times to penetrate the defense of our troops in the areas of Toretsk and Shcherbinovka. Five combat clashes are still ongoing.
In the Pokrovsky direction, the invaders made 15 attempts to push our defenders from their positions in the areas of Vozdvizhenka, Novotoretskaya, Novogrodovka, Krasny Yar, Marinovka and Nikolaevka. The defense forces repelled 13 enemy attacks, two combat clashes are still ongoing.
In the Kurakhovsky direction, the enemy attacked 12 times towards the settlements of Tsukurino, Zhelannoye Vtoroy, Georgievka, Dalneye and Konstantinovka. Nine assaults have already been repelled.
In the Vremivsky direction, four enemy attacks are currently ongoing in the direction of Pavlovka, Vodyane and Ugledar.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces are also conducting an operation in the Kursk region of Russia. "The enemy's aviation continues to destroy its own villages and cities. Since the beginning of the day, Russian aircraft have carried out six strikes with nine UABMs on their own territory," the General Staff reported.
Earlier on Tuesday, it became known that the Russians had begun to bypass the city of Vuhledar in the Donetsk region from the flanks. This became possible after they completely destroyed the city as a stronghold thanks to the massive use of aviation.
