| [GEO.TV] At least one police officer was martyred, and four others were maimed in a 'remote-controlled bomb explosion' targeting a police van guarding a convoy of foreign envoys heading to Malam Jabba from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa's Swat ...a valley and an administrative district in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province of Pakistain, located 99 mi from Islamabad. It is inhabited mostly by Pashto speakers. The place has gone steadily downhill since the days when Babe Ruth was the Sultan of Swat... district on Sunday. District Police Officer (DPO) Zahidullah Khan confirmed the earth-shattering kaboom, stating the attack targeted a group of foreign diplomats, resulting in one officer losing his life and four others being injured. DPO Khan detailed that the affected mobile van was leading the convoy of 11 foreign diplomats, adding that the martyred policeman was identified as Burhan while four maimed cops include a sub-inspector. |
