"It should be noted that these are modern ships. This is a completely different level of technology. Weapons that are, first of all, of the highest technical reliability. And I'm not even talking about the readiness to use weapons - an extremely high level," he said.
The admiral's words are quoted by the Russian Defense Ministry. He gave a speech at a ceremonial event, during which he presented the cruiser unit with the Order of Nakhimov. Moiseyev emphasized that these submarines are armed with the most powerful and destructive weapons, which ensures Russia's security.
As reported by the Regnum news agency, on September 4, Russian President Vladimir Putin, while on a visit to Vladivostok, conveyed his best wishes to the Pacific Fleet fighters. He visited the base of the Primorskaya flotilla of the Pacific Fleet's mixed forces in Ulysses Bay, where he inspected the corvette Rezkiy.
On September 18, Putin noted that the Russian authorities are paying great attention to strengthening the Russian army and the Russian Navy. The President added that their re-equipment program is being implemented.
