| #3 The US talks a mean sanctions game but when it comes to commodities that it can’t produce or source elsewhere it gladly pays top dollar for uranium fuel rods, tungsten or ammonium nitrate from the Russians. TPTB should be very happy that the Russians continue to be willing to sell to them despite sanctions on western products. That being said - any guesses as to how many barges currently on the Mississippi have a load of ammonium nitrate on board? The answer might surprise you |
