Satellite images have emerged showing the aftermath of missile strikes by the Ukrainian Navy on Russian ammunition depots near temporarily occupied Mariupol. The photographs were published by Radio Liberty's Russian service on Tuesday, September 17.
The images show the aftermath of fires and detonation of ammunition in three different locations around Mariupol.
One of the warehouses, like those recently hit by the Defense Forces in the Voronezh region of Russia, was located in a forest.
Some of the strikes, as can be seen from photographs and eyewitness accounts, were carried out on Friday, September 13. The rest - on the night from Sunday to Monday, September 16.
Photos of the consequences of one of them in the area of ​​the village of Glubokoe, taken on the ground, were published by the advisor to the Ukrainian mayor of Mariupol, Petro Andryushchenko.
On Tuesday, September 17, the Ukrainian Navy claimed responsibility for these strikes.
Earlier we wrote that a missile depot for Russian air defense was attacked near temporarily occupied Mariupol . It is also possible that an air defense crew was hit.
