[Korrespondent] Ukrainian Armed Forces Contain Russian Attacks in Eastern and Southern Ukraine.
The enemy will carry out the most intensive attacks in the Kurakhovsky and Pokrovsky directions. Nine combat clashes are currently ongoing there.
Since the beginning of the current day, 83 combat clashes have occurred on the front. The hottest ones are now in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhovsky directions, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in the construction as of 16:00 on Saturday, September 14.
Thus, in the Kharkov direction, the Russians stormed the positions of our troops in the Volchansk area three times.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attacked four times in the direction of Lozovaya and Sinkovka. One attack was repelled, three combat clashes continue.
In the Liman direction, the enemy organized 11 assaults in the areas of Druzhelyubovka, Makeyevka, Nevsky, Novosadovy, Zarechny, Serebryanka and Terny. Five battles are still ongoing.
In the Seversky direction, the enemy twice tried to push back our units near Verkhnekamenskoye and Vyemka. At present, one combat clash has not ended.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the invaders carried out one assault near Andreevka.
In the Toretsk direction, the number of enemy attacks has increased to six - near Toretsk, Druzhba and Nelipovka. Two combat clashes are currently ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are repelling intensive attacks in the areas of Sukha Balka, Vozdvizhenka, Zelenoe Pole, Novoaleksandrovka, Novotoretskoye, Grodovka, Krasny Yar, Novogrodovka and Marinovka. In total, the aggressor has carried out 23 assaults. Six battles are still ongoing.
In the Kurakhovsky direction, the invader attacked our units 27 times near Selidovoye, Ukrainskoye, Krasnogorovka, Dolinovka, Zhelaemoye Vtoroy, Georgievka, Konstantinovka and Yekaterinovka. Currently, three combat clashes are ongoing near Georgievka and Konstantinovka.
In the Vremovsky direction, our troops repelled two attacks in the direction of Vodyanoye and Zolotaya Niva.
In the Dnieper direction, two attacks by the invaders were also unsuccessful.
Let us recall that on September 13, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed more than 1,200 Russian occupiers in one day. Russia's total losses since the beginning of the war are approaching 640,000 soldiers.

Russian paratroopers defeated in Kursk region
During the heavy fighting, several dozen military opponents were eliminated, and the attempt to break through the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces failed.

"The troops of the aggressor state are making desperate attempts to push out the units and military units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces from the Kursk region. Thus, yesterday, the enemy threw 14 units of military equipment, including two tanks, 11 BMDs and one armored personnel carrier from one of the military units of the Russian Airborne Forces, at the positions of the Ukrainian paratroopers," the statement says.
It is stated that the attempt to break through the defensive positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces failed. In a heavy battle that lasted for several hours, five BMDs, a tank and an armored personnel carrier of the enemy, as well as several dozen killed Russians, remained on the battlefield.
