The Russians are continuously attacking in the Pokrovsky direction. Here, the occupiers have carried out 28 attacks during the day.
The situation at the front remains tense. The number of combat clashes has now increased to 101. The hottest is currently in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhovsky directions. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Saturday, September 7.
The occupier continues to use aviation and artillery in the border areas of the Sumy and Chernihiv regions.
In the Kharkov direction, Russian troops stormed the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces units in the Volchansk area, the battle is currently ongoing. Kazachya Lopan came under attack from enemy UABs.
The enemy attacked four times in the Kupyansk direction . In the direction of Sinkovka, Lozovaya, Stelmakhovka and Andreyevka. One attack was repelled by the Defense Forces, three combat clashes continue.
In the Liman direction, the enemy attacked in the direction of Cherneshchyna, Nevsky, Lozovaya, Torskoye and near Makeyevka and Dibrova. In total, since the beginning of the day, there have already been 18 clashes in this direction, two clashes are still ongoing in the Nevsky area. The situation is under control.
The enemy is further trying to break through the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Seversky direction , but is receiving a tough rebuff from Ukrainian units. Thus, near Spornoye, Verkhnekamenskoye and Vyemka, the occupiers tried to push back our units four times, at present all attacks have been repelled.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the invaders carried out five assault actions near Chasovy Yar, Andreyevka and Kleshchievka. A battle is underway near Andreyevka. The enemy is actively using aviation, striking Chasovy Yar with UABs and unguided air missiles.
In the Toretsk direction, the number of enemy attacks has increased to five. The enemy, with the support of attack and bomber aircraft, is trying to attack near the settlements of Toretsk, where our defenders have repelled three attacks, Nelipovka, where one attack has already been repelled, two more clashes are continuing.
The enemy is continuously attacking Ukrainian defenders in the Pokrovsk direction. Here, during the day, the aggressor carried out 28 attacks in the areas of Vozdvizhenka, Grodovka, Zelenoye Pole, Lisovka, Mirolyubovka, Novogrodovka, Selidovoye and Mikhaylovka. The defense forces are holding back the pressure and have repelled 18 enemy attacks, ten battles are still ongoing. Aleksandropol suffered strikes from unguided air missiles.
The situation is also difficult in the Kurakhovsky direction , where since the beginning of the day the invader has attacked our units 27 times. He tried to advance near Konstantinovka, Krasnogorovka and Georgievka, currently fighting continues in six locations.
In the Vremovsky direction, our troops are repelling three attacks towards Vodyanoye and Ugledar; three attempts to advance towards Vodyanoye have not brought success to the enemy.
In the Orekhovsky and Gulyai-Polye directions, the occupiers are shelling the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas. The enemy also used attack aircraft against Novoandreyevka.
In the Dnieper direction, three attacks by the invaders were unsuccessful. Today, enemy aircraft struck settlements such as Urozhainoe, Berislav, Tyaginka and Tokarevka in the Kherson region, dropping ten guided air bombs.
Let us recall that on September 5, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, stated that Ukrainian troops had managed to stop the advance of the Russians in the Pokrovsk direction .
President Volodymyr Zelensky noted that the situation in the Pokrovsk direction "has been better" over the past few days , but it is necessary to wait for stabilization.
