This comes after we learned that an unidentified individual also warned the high school via phone that it would be the first of five schools targeted with violence prior to the shooting on Wednesday. Gray denied making the threats in an interview with the Jackson County Sheriff's Office. Per FBI Atlanta, "Jackson County alerted local schools for continued monitoring of the subject," but no additional action was taken. | #5 Now the shrink(s) who mishandled the Covenant murderess had plenty of info that she was batshit crazy and didn't do anything constructive about it. Most states still forbid both professionals and relatives from forcing mental health treatment on anyone aged eighteen or over beyond a three-day hospital stay for evaluation. And even a three-day stay for evaluation generally can’t be forced on an 18+ adult unless the judge agrees the person is an imminent danger to self or others, where imminent danger requires being in the process at that moment of physically attempting murder or suicide. | #4 Lets be honest here. How do you predict which loudmouth fool will actually become a danger? If the Feebs had jumped on this kid in 2023, half of us would be on their case for prosecuting "thought" crimes because back then that's all it was.
