As the "Caucasian Knot" reported, in early March 2023, Ingush security forces put three students on the wanted list, including Ingushetia native Malik Gandaloev, he was accused of manufacturing and storing explosives and participating in the activities of a terrorist organization. In this case, the prosecutor demanded 22 years of imprisonment for him. On July 23, the Southern District Military Court sentenced Gandaloev to 20 years of imprisonment.
