delivery amid the ongoing conflict.The decision comes as Sudan prepares to open several border crossings to facilitate the flow of aid to those affected by the fighting. al-Burhan recently approved the opening of the Adr crossing with Chad to address the dire humanitarian situation in Darfur.
A statement from the Sovereignty Council said the move was intended to ''facilitate procedures across border crossings, ensure smooth commercial movement and speed up the clearance of goods.''
