– Russian troops have established control over Vesyoloye, located northeast of the railway, along which the Russian Armed Forces had previously advanced in this area. Enemy units have retreated to fortified positions northeast of the settlement.
To the south, Russian attack aircraft were able to approach Zhelannoye and, according to some information, have already entered it in the area of ??the railway station. However, this information has not yet been confirmed either by footage or by reports from sources “on the ground”.
- The large stronghold of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to the east, previously mentioned by us, was apparently also successfully occupied by units of the Russian Armed Forces. In many ways, this became possible due to the previously formed "semi-ring" around the enemy positions, which made it possible to cut off the Ukrainian Armed Forces units defending this area from supplies. Now the Russian troops have the opportunity to develop an offensive to the south, bypassing the strongholds of the Ukrainian formations on the right bank of the Volchya River.
