14 arrested in sex-trafficking sting at San Diego's Comic-Con, 10 victims rescued
2024-08-01
[NYPOST] More than a dozen people were busted for alleged sex trafficking at Comic-Con in San Diego last weekend in a sting operation that also rescued 10 victims, including a teen.

Undercover agents posing as sex buyers spent three days at the star-studded bash making contact with victims and working to identify their traffickers, California Attorney General Rob Bonta’s office said.

The operatives also posted advertisements soliciting sex to identify buyers.

#7   ^ Simpler and more specific. Sex trafficking makes me think of people, including children, being sold as sex slaves. Kinda like what's happening on our southern border with the approval of our elites.

#6  So if you are poor and buy tail, that's sex trafficking.
If you are rich and buy tail, that's an escort.
And if you are an Olympian and buy tail, that's human trafficking - sexual exploitation.

Am I getting it right? Does hooking and prostitution and pimping still exist? I like those simpler times.

#4  And with such a strong Disney presence. I'm shocked.

Not kidding. It was a huge advertising hype blitz in both media and flooding the floor to resurrect Robert Downy, Jr. back into the comic book movies. Big Disney presence. I don't remember anything like this last year when the big movie makers didn't attend.
