Georgia Democrats and Republicans Find Common Ground, Demand Switch to Paper Ballots

Ask him/her/it to reimagine something for you; they do that a lot, though not well. They can hear a dog whistle a mile or two away. They invented the spoils system and Tammany Hall, and inspired the addition of the word (Thomas) Nasty to the English language. They want to stop continental drift and repeal the law of unintended side effects...
and Republicans in Georgia have found common ground and are demanding the state election board ditch electronic voting machines and switch to paper ballots.

The two political parties in the state have called for the Georgia election board to go from using Dominion Voting Systems’ electronic voting machines to using hand-marked paper ballots, according to 11Alive News. The groups have noted how easily hackers can "manipulate elections."

"It’s madness, actually, to go into a system and have all of our ballots relying on that," Jeanne Dufort, the chair of the Morgan County Democrat Party, said in a statement.

Dr. Rich DeMillo, the founder of Georgia Tech’s School of Cybersecurity and Privacy, described a "series of breaches" — especially ones in cybersecurity within the last "two years" — as being "story after story" of some sort of "vulnerability in a system" that had been ignored.

"If you look at the series of breaches, global breaches of cybersecurity systems over the last two years, it’s story after story like this where some vulnerability in a system was ignored," DeMillo said in a statement.

After the 2020 presidential election, several counties in Georgia that had used Dominion Voting Systems’ software reported that they had encountered glitches during the election.

The outlet also noted that security cameras had captured Trump supporters "entering the secure area of Coffee County’s election office" and that they had copied election software.

"We believe the experts who tell us that bad guys, foreign and domestic, are interested in overturning election results or interfering with them," Dufort added. "And we absolutely believe they now have really good tools to do that."

Without mandatory:
* Only State issued ID with matching address voter roll info to vote.
* 5 to 20-year sentence for Voter Fraud, depending on the scale of voter fraud.
* Ban of outside of State $$$$ donations, so no businesses, SIG's or political parties can buy an election.
* $100 Cap per voter donation per election.
* ONLY humans can donate,
* Ballots must be printed on controlled Watermarked special paper.
* Yearly update and Control of Voter Rolls and voter addresses.
* Photo of Valid State ID for Absentee ballot to be issued,
* Ballot boxes will be sealed with serial numbered tape, escorted by B.O.E. staff, and assign poll watchers, while being recorded by mobile CCTV.
* Once any person has been issued an Absentee ballot, the name is flagged from voting that election in person.

No matter, what the final solution.
There MUST BE serious controls and legal penalties place that used and applied.

I worked Richmond co, Ga. Elections in the late 70's to mid 80's. It was common knowledge there was a Local printing business that printed extra ballots and there were even extra ballot boxes, that were used after Mid-night, for that sudden come from behind win.

Hell, when the Corp of Engineers lowered the Savannah River in the mid 90's for Lock-N-Dam inspection, duplicate ballot boxes were found off the 5th st. bridge that the Board of elections never reported missing, nor ever accounted for.
