The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on the situation at the front as of 16:00 on July 28. A total of 73 combat clashes have occurred since the beginning of the day. In the Kharkov direction, the Russians carried out three attacks near Glubokoye and Vovchansk, where one combat clash continues.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy carried out an assault operation near Novoosinove. The battle continues.
In the Liman direction, the invading army attacked the positions of Ukrainian units 12 times near the settlements of Makeyevka, Novosergeevka, Nevskoye, Terny, Novosadovo and Torskoye. Our defenders repelled five enemy attacks, seven are still ongoing.
In the Seversky direction, the enemy attacked five times during the day near Spirnoye and Ivano-Daryevka. As a result of the clashes, he suffered a defeat.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy carried out six assault actions near Vasyukivka, Grigoryevka, Vremenny Yar, Ivanovskoye and Kleshchyivka. The defense forces repelled half of the attacks, three more clashes are ongoing.
In the Toretsk direction, the occupiers attacked nine times near Zheleznoye, New York, Toretsky and Severny. Six battles have been completed, three are ongoing.
In the Pokrovsky direction, Russians carried out assault operations in the areas of the settlements of Timofeyevka, Vozdvizhenka, Novoaleksandrovka, Zelenoe Pole, Kalinovo, Ivanovka, Progress, Zhelanne, Sergeyevka, Novoselovka Pervaya and Yasnobrodovka. The defense forces are holding back the enemy's onslaught and have repelled 16 attacks, 12 combat contacts are ongoing.
In the Kurakhovsky direction, Russian troops attacked four times near Krasnogorovka and Georgievka. Three battles are over, one is ongoing.
In the Vremivsky direction, two attacks by Russians near Konstantinovka are still ongoing. In addition, the occupiers bombed areas near Vodyane with KABs.
In the Gulyaipole direction, the enemy is storming the positions of our defenders in the area of ​​the Gulyaipole settlement. The battle continues.
In the Orekhov direction, the enemy had no success, twice attacking the Ukrainian defensive lines near Malaya Tokmachka and Novoandreyevka.
While in other areas of the front the situation has not undergone any significant changes.
