The enemy attempted to break through the Ukrainian defenses near Urozhayne, Makarov, Konstantinovka and Velyka Novosilka.
Russian aggressors have stepped up attacks in the Vremivsk direction. In total, 109 battles took place on the front, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in a report on Saturday, July 13.
"Russian occupiers have significantly increased their activity in the Vremivsk direction . Here, the enemy tried to break through the Ukrainian defense at Urozhayne, Makarov, Konstantinovka and Velyka Novosilka. Ukrainian defenders have repelled 16 Russian assaults, and another enemy attack is ongoing in the Vodyane area," the report says.
In the Kharkov direction, the enemy attacked the defensive lines of the Ukrainian Armed Forces 13 times near Vovchansk and Glubokoe. Our soldiers repelled 10 attacks, and three more are ongoing.
In the Kupyansk direction, the Russians organized 11 assaults near Sinkovka, Olshana, Petrovpavlovka, Novoselovka, Berestovaya and Stelmakhovka. Four battles have ended, seven more are ongoing. The greatest concentration of enemy efforts is observed in the Berestova area.
In the Liman direction, the invaders attacked 15 times near Makeyevka, Grekovka and Terny. Ukrainian defenders repelled 10 assaults, and five more are ongoing.
In the Seversky direction, four enemy attacks have been repelled near Belogorovka and Verkhnekamenskoye. Three more clashes continue in the areas of Razdolovka and Spornoye.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the invaders carried out assaults six times near Chasovy Yar, Grigoryevka, Andreyevka and Kleshchievka. Three battles have already ended.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked seven times near Severny, Toretsky and New York. Another battle continues.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the Russians have made the greatest number of attempts to push back our defenders in the areas of the settlements of Vozdvizhenka, Kalinovo, Progress, Novoselovka Pervaya, Lozovatskoye, Novoalexandrovka and Yasnobrodovka.
"The defense forces are holding back the enemy's onslaught and have repelled 17 attacks, seven combat clashes are still ongoing. The enemy's losses are being clarified," the General Staff noted.
In the Kurakhovsky direction, the enemy attacked nine times near Krasnogorovka, Konstantinovka and Pobeda. Seven battles have been completed, two are ongoing.
In other areas the situation has not undergone any significant changes.
As is known, in recent months the Russians have been continuously attacking in Donbass and gradually pushing through the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Since May 10, Russia has opened a new front in the Kharkov region . After initial successes, the Russian troops suffered heavy losses and "got bogged down" in Vovchansk.
