House passes bill requiring voters prove citizenship in federal elections | |

[FoxNews] Final vote was 221-198, with five Democrats voting in favor of the SAVE Act. The House of Representatives approved a bill on Wednesday, aimed at ensuring only American citizens vote in federal elections. After debating the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act on the House floor, which was pushed by House speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., and Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, was passed by a final vote of 221-198. Five Democrats voted in favor of the measure, including Rep. Henry Cuellar, D-Texas; Rep. Vicente Gonzalez, D-Texas; Rep. Jared Golden, D-Maine; Rep. Don Davis, D-N.C.; and Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, D-Wash. The bill now heads to the Senate, where it will face strong opposition from Democrats. President Biden has also said he will veto the measure.

#2 voting requirements need to come from the supreme to avoid veto and needs to specify in person voting on hand-counted paper ballots cast on election day. military can vote on base. |

#1 Given the number of LSD states issuing State ID and Driver licenses to ILLEGALS. Now they need a bill requiring states to issue ID's clearly marked NONCitizen or US Citizen. Or cut off their Federal Hwy/DOT funding. |
