2024-07-08 |
[NINANEWS] "Fars" News Agency reported that two people were killed in the sinking of the Iranian Navy's "Sahand" frigate in the southeast of the country. The Agency added that the cause of the accident was likely due to a malfunction in the ship's balance tank or the entry of water after repairing the destroyer's shaft. For its part, the Iranian "Mehr" News Agency explained that the frigate was involved in an accident in the waters of the coastal city of Bandar Abbas, the capital of Hormozgan Province, southeast of Iran, at the entrance to the Arabian Gulf. |

#8 Heard in Algiers, or, The Bermuda Crescent "From West Bank to East Bank the best Way to cross is the bridge. Heads due west. To get to the Quarter, Just follow the water Downriver, due north." "A beau geste! Uh, cher." Total lie, of course. Gotta take the ferry. Caught the fireworks from practically underneath, lounging on the rail of the ramp one magic muggy July evening. After being irked that the boat was delayed, no less. |
