[Regnum] An American RQ-4B Global Hawk reconnaissance drone was spotted over Polish territory near the border with the Kaliningrad region.
According to Flightradar24, at 22:19 Moscow time, a reconnaissance drone with the call sign FORTE16 was circling near the Russian region at an altitude of 17.1 km.
As reported by the Regnum news agency, on June 5, an RQ-4 reconnaissance drone was spotted over the Black Sea, almost 250 km from Yalta. The UAV with the call sign FORTE12 took off from the air base in Sigonella in the direction of Romania.
The day before, on June 4, an American RQ-4B Global Hawk flew over the Black Sea, but then disappeared from radar. The operators controlling the drone may have intentionally turned off the identification transponders. An American RQ-4B Global Hawk reconnaissance drone was also spotted off the coast of Sochi on May 26. The reconnaissance drone took off from the NATO naval base in Sigonella.
