Singh noted that she had not seen the statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense regarding the increasing frequency of flights of American strategic drones over the Black Sea.
As Regnum reported, on June 28, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that the increased intensity of UAV flights indicates the increasing involvement of the United States and NATO countries in the conflict in Ukraine. In addition, flights of American drones significantly increase the likelihood of incidents in the airspace, which creates increased risks of direct confrontation between the alliance and the Russian Federation.
In this regard, Defense Minister Andrei Belousov instructed the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces to take prompt response measures to US provocations over the Black Sea.'
