Harris calls Putin's peace proposal a call for Kyiv's capitulation
[Regnum] On June 15, US Vice President Kamala Harris said at a conference on Ukraine in Switzerland that she considers Russian President Vladimir Putin ’s proposal for a peaceful settlement a call for Kiev’s capitulation.
“Yesterday Putin put forward a proposal. However, we must say honestly that he is not calling for negotiations, but for capitulation,” she said.
Harris added that she will continue to work with United States President Joe Biden to ensure that Russia bears the costs of the NWO. At the same time, she emphasized that the United States supports Ukraine not as part of charity, but in its own strategic interests.
As Regnum reported, on June 14, Putin announced his readiness for peace negotiations on Ukraine if Kiev withdraws troops from new Russian regions. He also promised that the Russian Armed Forces would stop hostilities if the withdrawal of the Ukrainian Armed Forces begins and Kyiv announces its refusal to join NATO.
The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, said that he considers the initiative for negotiations an “ ultimatum.” In his opinion, Russian troops will not stop advancing if Kyiv fulfills Moscow’s conditions.
Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said on June 15 that many representatives of Western countries during the conference on Ukraine spoke about the Russian leader’s proposal, but all statements were unconstructive.
The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, wished the participants of the Swiss conference on Ukraine to discuss the proposals of the Russian leader if they really want to save the world.

France explains NATO's refusal to put Putin's peace proposal on Ukraine
NATO rejected President Vladimir Putin's proposal for a peaceful resolution to the conflict in Ukraine due to a desire for war with Russia. This opinion was expressed on June 14 by the leader of the French Patriots party, Florian Philippot, on the social network X.
“It’s just crazy! “NATO has announced that it rejects the peace proposal made today by the Russian leadership,” he wrote.
Filippo noted that the alliance also responded to Moscow with threats, saying that several hundred thousand military blocs are in a state of high alert.

According to Putin, Kyiv and the West must recognize the new territorial realities and status of Crimea with Sevastopol, as well as the LPR, DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions as subjects of Russia. At the same time, basic agreements on the peaceful resolution of the conflict need to be fixed in international treaties that will spell out the rights, freedoms and interests of Russian-speaking citizens in Ukraine, the Russian leader added.
Later, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenbnerg said that the bloc does not consider Putin’s proposal to resolve the conflict in Ukraine peaceful. He noted that the alliance will continue to supply weapons to Kyiv.
