[Korrespondent] The Ukrainian Armed Forces are actively destroying the enemy in the east and south of Ukraine.
In the Pokrovsky and Kurakhovsky directions, the Russians have already lost about 350 soldiers killed and wounded.
Since the beginning of the current day, 67 military clashes have occurred at the front, more than half of them in the Pokrovsky and Kurakhovsky directions. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this in a report as of 20.00 on Saturday, June 8.
“In the Pokrovsky direction, the enemy has already made 27 attempts to break through our defenses. 19 attacks have been repulsed. Military clashes continue in the areas of Novoaleksandrovka, Novopokrovsky and Novoselovka First,” the message says.
Confirmed enemy losses along the line currently stand at 134 killed and 175 wounded. Four artillery systems and four vehicles were destroyed. A tank, a mortar and seven vehicles were damaged.
In the Kurakhovsky direction near Krasnogorovka and Georgievka, our soldiers repulse five enemy attacks. In total, the Russians made 10 attempts to advance and lost 30 people killed and wounded. The information is still being finalized. A cannon, two vehicles, a tank, an engineering clearing vehicle and two armored fighting vehicles were also destroyed.
In the Kupyansk direction, our soldiers repelled a total of seven attacks by the invaders. There is still another battle going on near Sinkovka. The Russians dropped four guided bombs in the areas of the settlements of Stepnaya Novoselovka and Kupyansk.
In the Vremiv direction, the enemy unsuccessfully tried to improve the tactical situation in the areas of Staromayorskoye and Zavetnoye Zhelanie. He carried out an airstrike with four KABs in the Elizavetovka area.
In other areas there are no significant changes.
Let us remind you that during the day on June 7, 1210 Russian occupiers were destroyed at the front. In total, since the beginning of the full-scale war, the Russian Federation has lost more than 517 thousand military personnel.
