The Russian army is trying to break through the defense of the Armed Forces in the direction of the vital Pokrovsk-Kostiantynivka highway in the Donetsk region. The enemy continues to use tactics of small groups.
This was reported by the spokesman of the "Khortytsia" OSU, Nazar Voloshyn, writes LIGA.net.
The enemy intensified offensive actions west of Avdiyivka and Maryinka from the side of occupied Ocheretiny, in order to break through the defenses to the "vitally important" highway Pokrovsk-Kostyantynivka. The enemy is massively shelling the positions of the Armed Forces in order to advance towards the settlements of Kurakhove and Pokrovsk.
"Russia threw a lot of forces into the capture of the village of Ocheretyne, so the occupiers from Ocheretyne rush to the Pokrovsk-Kostyantynivka highway. Taking advantage of this, they are conducting assaults with the aim of capturing Pokrovsk and the vital highway to Kostyantynivka," he notes.
The defense forces are doing everything possible to prevent the advance of the enemy.
According to the General Staff, the number of clashes doubled during the day in the Pokrovsky direction. Fighting continues near Novooleksandrivka, Yevgenivka, Novopokrovsky and Sokol.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Russian troops continue to try to advance in the areas of Kalynyvka and Alebastrova station - combat clashes continue. The total number of them in the direction increased to nine.
The enemy does not slow down the pace in the Pokrovsky direction. Since the beginning of the day, units of the Defense Forces have already repelled 12 assaults by the occupiers. Five more are ongoing. The enemy continues its attacks near Yevhenivka and in four locations near the village of Sokil.
The enemy continues to attack in the Vremiv direction. All six clashes are in the Urozhany region, half of them are ongoing.
In the Dnipro region, Russian terrorists are dropping aerial bombs again – this time, a total of six anti-aircraft missiles fell in the Tokarivka and Dnipro regions.
There are no significant changes in the rest of the directions. Ukrainian soldiers take the necessary measures to exhaust the offensive potential of the enemy.

On the Kharkiv direction, the Russian invaders tried five times today to knock our soldiers out of their positions. Ukrainian defenders have successfully repelled four enemy attacks, one in the Vovchansk region is ongoing.
The enemy lost 114 people in the direction today. Ukrainian defenders destroyed an armored car, a cannon, seven unmanned aerial vehicles, six units of special equipment and four enemy warehouses with ammunition.

Today, the enemy launched seven attacks in the Lyman direction. Now pressure continues in Serebryansk forest - there are ongoing combat operations in four locations. Another battle is taking place near Nevsky.
The Pokrovsky direction remains the hottest. At this time, the number of enemy attacks here has increased to 19. Russian terrorists continue to press most actively in the area of ​​Sokol. Accordingly, they suffer losses in manpower - for today it is already 354 people. In addition, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed a tank, three BBMs, seven guns, a ground drone and a car. Another 13 units of various military equipment of the invaders were damaged.
Orihiv direction - the enemy is pressing in the areas of Mala Tokmachka and Shcherbakiv - five enemy attacks have already been repelled today.
In the rest of the directions, the situation did not undergo significant changes.
Units of the Defense Forces bravely restrained the attempts of the occupiers to advance deep into the territory of Ukraine, inflicting fire damage on the enemy.
