THE MOST INCREDIBLE TORNADO VIDEO EVER CAPTURED
2024-05-23
[YouTube] From Reed Timmer

INCREDIBLE up-close drone and ground intercept of powerful #tornado southwest of Greenfield, Iowa with wind turbines collapsing during a major tornado outbreak across the Midwest. This tornado outbreak is part of a historic severe weather season of 2024. Dominator drone and rental dominator tag team intercept of this tornado. Sadly, Greenfield was destroyed.

This is incredible footage from Dr. Timmer. Recommended watch, if just for the violent beauty of this storm.

#8  All that debris from trashed windmills flying around. Dangerous.

#7  Watching them go up out here and knowing the weather (not uncommon for a front to throw up 80mph straight lines) there was a question about what point one of these windmills takes enough frame stress somewhere it is essentially broken, even if still standing.

#6  I though it ironic that none of them seemed to be spinning before they keeled over.

#5  There is some irony when watching windmills being knocked over by... wind

#4  Some after analysis yet to be done but this was probably an F3 or F4.

We haven't had an F5 in over 10 years.

#2  Some roadside video, of course, but the drones can fly straight at the storm. Awesome.

#1  Nature sees your green energy and laughs while destroying it like your older brother destroyed your sand castle.
