| Russia amasses more than half a million troops on the front line in dramatic bid to overpower Ukrainian forces as analyst warns outlook for Western-backed nation 'is bleak' |

Vladimir Putin's army significantly outnumbers the Western-backed troops, forcing them to use up ammunition supplies. Dr Jack Watling, from the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI), said: 'The Russian forces have now expanded to 510,000 troops. 'The outlook for Ukraine is bleak. Its allies must replenish stockpiles.' The warning came as Russia continued its advances in northern Ukraine, which threaten the country's second city, Kharkiv. |

| #7 Erdogan claims Israel will seek to occupy parts of Turkey if it defeats Hamas I can see that happening. Just look at a map! Once Israel cuts a swath through Lebanon and Syria, Turkey is the next domino to fall. |

| #1 Russia has no shortage of troops. Recruitment's no problem. They have the will and drive. No sudden thing. Slow continuous buildup over months and last couple years. Training skills are developed so when sent into the fray they are rotated also. Sharp contrast to Ukrainians. Send money and equipment to those who lack the necessary skills to operate. Hence losses of men and expensive equipment. |
