The enemy, using its advantage in manpower and equipment, with the support of aviation, is intensively attacking Ukrainian positions. The defenders hold back the pressure of the invaders and inflict maximum losses on the Russians.
During the current day, 130 military clashes took place. In total, Russian troops carried out two missile and 65 air strikes, and carried out 74 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and populated areas.
Russian occupiers continue to terrorize the civilian population of the Sumy region. Today the invaders launched an air strike in the Dmitrovka area.
In the Khar'kov direction, the number of enemy attacks increased to 14. The fighting took place in the areas of the settlements of Liptsy, Volchansk, Neskuchnoye. The high intensity of hostilities remains in the Pokrovsky direction. The Russians continue to carry out airstrikes, in particular in the areas of Uman, Novoselovka Pervaya and Zhelanny. Combat aviation was used 16 times. Kaba is also used. In total, today in this direction there were 40 attacks by the invaders on the positions of Ukrainian defenders. Most of all - in the districts of Novoaleksandrovka, Netaylovy and Solovyovoy.
In the Kurakhovsky direction, the Defense Forces successfully repelled nine enemy attacks. The enemy is concentrating its efforts in the areas of Georgievka, Novomikhailovka and Krasnogorovka.
In the Dnieper direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian defenders five times near Krynoki, but was unsuccessful. There were no significant changes in the situation in the Limansky, Toretsky, Vremivsky, Gulyai-Polye and Orekhovsky directions.
“The defense forces adequately respond to the actions of the invaders and take the necessary measures to stabilize the situation,” the General Staff noted.
Let us recall that on May 10, the Russians launched an offensive in the north of the Khar'kov region. They captured about a dozen villages in the “gray zone.” Now fighting is taking place for the border town of Volchansk.

It is noted that since the beginning of the day, 145 military clashes have occurred, the enemy launched three missile strikes, more than 320 attacks by kamikaze drones and carried out more than 2,400 attacks on the positions of our troops. Aviation was actively involved - Russian terrorists dropped about 70 guided bombs on the territory of Ukraine.
The General Staff reported that in the Kupyansk direction the enemy made 16 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops. The fighting continues. The enemy has no luck.
“In addition, our troops restored previously lost positions and improved the tactical situation in certain areas,” the General Staff noted.
It is noted that in the Khar'kov direction, units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 11 enemy attacks, in particular, in the directions Glubokoe - Liptsy, Lukyantsy - Liptsy, Borisovka - Neskuchnoye, Shebekino (RF) - Volchansk, three military clashes are still ongoing.
