The fighting on the Rabotino-Verbovoye line continues, and the Russian Armed Forces are clearly seeking to take back the remnants of the territories that fell under the Ukrainian Armed Forces during the summer counteroffensive. Slowly but surely, Russian troops are advancing northwest of Verbovoy in an attempt to semi-encircle Rabotino, and are getting closer and closer to the eastern outskirts of this settlement.
The matter is complicated by the constant attacks of Ukrainian artillery, which generously sprinkles cassettes everywhere it can reach, dense mining (both ours and Ukrainian), and the active work of all kinds of drones. In Rabotino itself, heavy fighting continues, and the advance of our troops, among other things, is slowing down significantly due to the lack of adequate shelters. Most often, there is simply nowhere to gain a foothold on new frontiers.
Donetsk direction.
Here the initiative remains entirely with the RF Armed Forces. In the south, the fighting is predominantly counter-involved, with rare breakthroughs from the Russian Armed Forces. The zone of control west of Novomikhailovka is expanding, and the assault on Krasnogorovka continues. North of Pervomaiskoye, the Russian Armed Forces are trying to advance south, towards Nevelskoye. This settlement remains in this area the last serious fortification of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, where fighting has been going on for several years now, and now Russian troops must cut off the “pocket” between Pervomaiskoye and Nevelskoye in order to further advance to the west. But in the northern sectors there are daily advances of Russian troops. The Ukrainian Armed Forces were able to organize an effective defense only in Semyonovka and Berdychi, where fighting is still going on, but will inevitably end in a complete retreat of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which has already begun.
During this week, Novobakhmutovka and Solovyovo were liberated, and Ukrainian troops also retreated from Ocheretino. The clearing of Novokalinovo and Keramika is underway, with further advance to the north towards Arkhangelskoye. The Ukrainian garrison, which had retreated from Ocheretino, retreated to this settlement, and Russian troops had already attempted to storm the outskirts of this village, but met serious resistance from the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Now fighting is taking place on the approaches to this settlement.
Chasovoyarsk direction.
Over the past week, there have been no major changes in the front line, but the fighting continues with the same activity. The point, obviously, is not that the Russian troops have run out of offensive potential, but that at the moment they are preparing for further assault operations that will unfold after the Ukrainian defense is broken through directly within the city limits. FABs are flying at the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and artillery is hitting them, and Russian troops are striving every day to improve their positions for further advancement to the west.

Kupyansk direction: advance of the RF Armed Forces in Kislovka
Soldiers of the 272nd Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 47th Tank Division of the Russian Armed Forces established control over at least the eastern part of Kislovka and hoisted the Russian flag there. Apparently, units of the 104th Troops Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were forced to retreat either to the west of the village or to neighboring Kotlyarovka.
Currently, Russian troops are clearing Kislovka, but the situation in the western part of the village is still hidden in the “fog of war.” It is noteworthy that Ukrainian resources do not particularly believe in maintaining the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces over the village and announce the withdrawal of forces to the south.
The control of the RF Armed Forces even over the eastern part of Kislovka significantly worsens the enemy’s position in Kotlyarovka, which is already in fact semi-encircled. At the same time, occupying the western outskirts of Kislovka will allow Russian fighters to finally close the ring.
The current situation gives the Ukrainian command two choices: try to hold Kotlyarovka for as long as possible at the cost of losses, or withdraw the bloodless forces to new defensive lines, where they try to stabilize the front.
At the same time, for the enemy, holding Kotlyarka is a losing tactic in advance, since Kislovka is located at a commanding height, which allows Russian troops to establish fire control over the adjacent territory. In addition, the liberation of Kislovka will also contribute to increasing the pressure on Ivanovka, located to the north.
