Still, although it is doubted that one in fifty Americans could find Qatar on a map, Qatar is an American protectorate.

#1  And who are the Americans who champion relations with Qatar? Why, Bill and Hillary Clinton, and Brookings, of course. Then there is the Pentagon that just loves its base in Qatar, just as much as Qatar appreciates the security it provides the Al-Thani family who run the place.
