During the day, 72 clashes were recorded at the front. The enemy made 14 attacks in the Kherson direction near Krynoki. The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced this in an evening report on Friday, April 5.
In total, Russian troops carried out 10 missile and 67 air strikes, and carried out 97 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas.
In the Kupyansk direction the enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) operations.
In the Liman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled two enemy attacks in the area of ​​the village of Terny, Donetsk region, where the invaders tried to break through the defenses.
In the Bakhmut direction, more than 10 attacks were repelled in the areas of the settlements of Andreevka, Zelenopole, Kleshchievka, Ivanovskoye, Donetsk region, where the Russians tried to improve the tactical situation.
In the Avdeevsky direction, 18 attacks were repelled in the areas of the settlements of Berdychi, Umanskoye, Yasnobrodovka and Pervomaiskoye in the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried to dislodge Ukrainian units from their occupied lines.
In the Novopavlovsk direction, the Defense Forces continue to restrain the Russian invaders in the areas of the settlements of Georgievka, Konstantinovka, Novomikhailovka in the Donetsk region, where the invaders, with the support of aviation, tried to break through the defense 10 times.
In the Orekhovsky direction, during the day, the enemy, with the support of aviation, made one unsuccessful attempt to attack the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the area of ​​​​the village of Staromayorskoye, Donetsk region.
