[Korrespondent] Soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confront the Russian army.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to inflict damage to the occupying forces in manpower and equipment, depleting the enemy along the entire line of combat.
During the day, 57 military clashes were recorded at the front. In the Bakhmut direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled more than 20 enemy attacks. The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced this in an evening report on Thursday, April 4.
In total, Russian troops carried out two missile and 61 air strikes, and carried out 49 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas.
In the Kupyansk direction the enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) operations. In the Liman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repulsed four enemy attacks in the area of ​​the settlements of Terny and Yampolevka, Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried to break through the defenses.
In the Bakhmut direction, more than 20 attacks were repelled in the areas of the settlements of Belogorovka and Verkhnekamenka in the Lugansk region; Spornoe, Chasov Yar, Ivanovskoe, Stupochki, Klishchievka, Andreevka of the Donetsk region, where the occupiers, with the support of aviation, tried to improve the tactical situation.
In the Avdeevsky direction, two attacks were repelled in the areas of the settlements of Pervomaiskoye and Nevelskoye, Donetsk region, where the Russians tried to dislodge Ukrainian units from their occupied lines.
In the Novopavlovsk direction, the Defense Forces continue to contain the enemy in the areas of the settlements of Krasnogorovka, Georgievka, Konstantinovka, Novomikhailovka, Bolshaya Novoselka and Urozhainoye, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried to break through the defense 19 times.
In the Orekhovsky direction, during the day, the enemy, with the support of aviation, made three unsuccessful attempts to attack the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the areas of settlements Staromayorskoye, Donetsk region and north-west of Verbovoy, Zaporozhye region.
In the Kherson direction, the enemy does not abandon his intention to dislodge Ukrainian units from their bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnieper. Thus, during the day, five attacks were carried out on the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the area of ​​​​the village of Krynki, Kherson region.
During the day, units of the missile forces inflicted a defeat on the area where personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated, two artillery systems, a radar station, a radio electronics station and two enemy air defense systems.
Let us remind you that over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Armed Forces liquidated 670 occupiers. Since the start of the full-scale war against Ukraine, the Russian army has lost 445,040 soldiers.
