#3  ^ or prisoners. They like to get out.

We get helicopters and these beautiful acrobats.

Generally 2 weeks later the treeline has turned brown from wind-driven over-spray. Kids, cows, cats, cars...yeah, them too.

#2  I am not a farmer, but I would think that spreading grass seed after construction or forest fire might be something that could be done by drone.

#1  I don’t think its going to play out like this; the drone v. tractor scenario as stated is too simplistic. I do think there will be a shakeup in the airborne spraying industry; replacing manned aircraft, both fixed and rotary winged, with these drones. Programmed to fly precisely within the customer’s boundaries, and no expensive A&P annuals, pilot costs, etc.
Just need a spot to launch/ recover and reload the hopper.
But to replace the tractor? Nothing runs like a Deere.
