#2 I am not a farmer, but I would think that spreading grass seed after construction or forest fire might be something that could be done by drone. |

#1 I don’t think its going to play out like this; the drone v. tractor scenario as stated is too simplistic. I do think there will be a shakeup in the airborne spraying industry; replacing manned aircraft, both fixed and rotary winged, with these drones. Programmed to fly precisely within the customer’s boundaries, and no expensive A&P annuals, pilot costs, etc. Just need a spot to launch/ recover and reload the hopper. But to replace the tractor? Nothing runs like a Deere. |
