[Regnum] FSB employees need to look for traitors acting against Russia as part of sabotage and reconnaissance groups and punish them without a statute of limitations, President Vladimir Putin said on March 19.
“We will punish traitors without a statute of limitations, wherever they are,” he said at the FSB board.
Putin noted the department’s work in the special operation zone, including identifying agents, terrorist groups and DRGs. The President also thanked everyone who is fighting back against saboteurs at the border.
As Regnum reported, a member of the Ukrainian formation “Russian Volunteer Corps” (RDK, a terrorist organization whose activities are prohibited in the Russian Federation) who surrendered to Russian captivity said on March 17 that he joined this formation for the sake of money, like most of those who are there. He admitted that Russian fighters greeted the saboteurs at the border “very warmly,” as a result of which the militant decided to surrender.
On March 18, Putin compared members of the RDK participating in sabotage groups who are trying to break into Russian territory with the Vlasovites. He recalled that during the Great Patriotic War, the Nazis also created a formation of traitors, and they took up arms against their homeland.
