[Korrespondent] The occupiers stopped the assault on one of the directions
The Russian Federation decided to abandon assaults in one of the directions; the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine provided details.
During the day, 68 military clashes were recorded at the front. In the Bakhmut direction, the Russian invaders did not conduct offensive actions. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this in an evening report on Friday, March 15.
In total, Russian troops carried out eight missile and 57 air strikes, and carried out 46 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas.
In the Kupyansk direction, the Defense Forces repulsed three enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Sinkovka and Tabaevka in the Kharkov region, where the enemy tried to improve its tactical position.
In the Liman direction, soldiers repulsed nine attacks by the occupiers in the areas of the settlements of Belogorovka in the Luhansk region and Terny, Razdolovka in the Donetsk region, where the Russians, with the support of aviation, tried to break through the defenses.
In the Bakhmut direction the enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) operations. In the Avdeevsky direction, defenders repelled more than 20 enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Berdichi, Orlovka, Tonenkoye, Pervomaiskoye, Donetsk region.
In the Novopavlovsk direction, the Defense Forces continue to restrain the Russian invaders in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Georgievka, Novomikhailovka of the Donetsk region, where the invaders, with the support of aviation, tried to break through the defense 22 times.
In the Orekhovsky direction, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders five times in the Staromayorsky district of the Donetsk region and Robotinoy of the Zaporozhye region. In the Kherson direction, within 24 hours the enemy carried out three unsuccessful assaults on the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
During the day, Defense Forces aircraft carried out strikes on seven areas where enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated.
Let us remind you that over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Armed Forces liquidated 580 occupiers. Since the beginning of the war, the Russian Army has lost more than 428 thousand soldiers in Ukraine.
