| Putin warns again that Russia is ready to use nuclear weapons if its sovereignty is threatened |

| [APNEWS] President Vladimir Putin said Wednesday that Russia is ready to use nuclear weapons if its sovereignty or independence is threatened, issuing another blunt warning to the West just days before an election in which he’s all but certain to secure another six-year term. The Russian leader has repeatedly talked about his readiness to use nuclear weapons since launching a full-scale invasion of Ukraine on Feb. 24, 2022. The most recent such threat came in his state-of-the-nation address last month, when he warned the West that deepening its involvement in the fighting in Ukraine would risk a nuclear war. Asked in an interview with Russian state television released early Wednesday if he has ever considered using battlefield nuclear weapons in Ukraine, Putin responded that there has been no need for that. He also noted that he doesn’t think that the world is heading for a nuclear war, describing U.S. President Joe Biden as a veteran politician who fully understands the possible dangers of escalation. When asked for U.N. Secretary-General António Guterres’ reaction to Putin’s remarks, spokesman Stéphane Dujarric said that “all rhetoric that could lead to miscalculation or escalation with obvious catastrophic consequences for the world must be avoided.” |

| #11 Biden thought he'd call Putin's bluff when Putin said NATO's expansion into Ukraine would be an existential threat to Russia. So now we have this nasty little war and Biden is not winning so he continues to escalate instead of negotiate. Biden, it seems, is not a very good p0ker player. He and his fellow globalists might not be so happy when this globe they aspire to rule is all burnt black. |

| #7 ^Only if Trump wins - more precisely, if his electoral victory is allowed to stand. Otherwise, nuclear war is a certainty. And anybody who thinks that Russia will go MAD with USA, without wiping out Western Europe - probably believes that Muslims can be integrated in EUrope, Palestinians want a state of their own, and gender is fluid (In short, EUropean rulers). |

| #5 Well, call him. How many people here realize the US renounced its "no first use" policy quite some time ago? Do what needs to be done. We cannot live under the blackmail of this foreign dictator, restricting what we can and cannot do. We are the USA, no foreigners tell us what to do. |
