“Our nuclear triad is more modern than any other triad. And such triads are only found among us and the Americans, in fact. And we have made much more progress here. In general, in terms of carriers and charges, we have approximately parity, but ours is more modern,” said the Russian leader, adding that experts all know about Russian power in weapons.
As Regnum reported, the decision to modernize the Tu-160 supersonic strategic missile-carrying bomber was correct, Vladimir Putin said on March 7. The President clarified that with this decision Russia supported the nuclear triad, and noted that the modernization of the missile carrier was carried out on the initiative of the head of the Ministry of Defense Sergei Shoigu.

In the United States, in addition to the current head of the White House, there are enough other specialists in the fields of Russian-American relations and strategic deterrence, Putin noted.

To maintain full defense capability, it is enough to resume testing, he added. The hopes of Pentagon strategists for a quick global strike, according to Litovkin, are in vain. A retaliatory strike from Russia is guaranteed, and it will be terrible for the United States. And any hopes in Washington that the Pentagon will be able to deprive the Russian armed forces of the opportunity to respond with a one-time strike are simply naive, the expert assured.
