“The Ministry of Defense of the aggressor state cannot cope with the consequences of a cyber attack by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry. As of March 5, the official website of the enemy’s law enforcement agency is still down,” the message says.
The Main Intelligence Directorate noted that IP telephony, domains of the Russian Ministry of Defense, as well as servers that provided electronic document management for the structure remained blocked.
GUR representative Andrey Yusov said during the telethon that these are significant amounts of data.
"We are talking about both personal data of the leadership of the Russian Ministry of Defense and valuable information in the context of software, which will allow such operations to continue. Of course, we are not talking about the complete destruction of their digital infrastructure, but these are significant achievements. This is an important database that will allow continue such actions on a larger scale," he said.
