Trump may have ‘inside straight' to beat all cases, Megyn Kelly says after Supreme Court and Fani Willis developments
2024-02-29
[Washington Examiner] Megyn Kelly marveled at the latest "incredible" developments in the several legal cases former President Donald Trump is facing.

The Supreme Court agreed on Wednesday to consider an emergency petition by Trump in which he claims he is immune from charges over actions taken while in office. The high court’s move thus delays criminal proceedings in his election subversion case.

"With the Trump immunity case being accepted by SCOTUS & what’s happening in Georgia, Trump may well have pulled the inside straight he needed to beat these cases," Kelly wrote on X. "NY is a joke. GA is dying/severely delayed. FL ain’t happening b/4 Nov. And now, neither is J6 DC case. Incredible."

During her SiriusXM The Megyn Kelly Show on Wednesday, Kelly also blasted the testimony of Terrence Bradley, an attorney who previously worked with Nathan Wade, the special prosecutor hired in the Georgia racketeering case against Trump.

Wade is at the center of conflict of interest accusations concerning an undisclosed romantic relationship with Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis. Hearings are currently being held over whether Willis should be disqualified from the racketeering case.

Kelly explained she obtained text messages claimed to be between Bradley and Ashleigh Merchant, an attorney for Trump co-defendant Mike Roman. Kelly shared some of the texts in which Merchant allegedly conversed with Bradley during the preparation of a motion court filing, saying, "I am shocked [Willis] paid [Wade] so much. How did they think they wouldn’t get caught!!!" Bradley’s alleged response was then quoted to be: "Arrogance."

#1  Considering they were all trump charges (pun intended) against him, it only takes a halfway honest court to destroy the DAs.
