| Police catch suspect with shoulder-mounted missile launcher, grenades |

| [IsraelTimes] Cops in northern Israel nabbed an East Jerusalem man with an anti-tank missile launcher, grenades and ammunition in his car on Friday night, police say in a statement. The arrest took place after special forces unit operating to stymie arms smuggling stopped the man’s car near Karmiel Junction in northern Israel. Inside they discovered a Matador shoulder-mounted anti-tank missile launcher, nine grenades and over 1,000 rounds of belted magnum bullets of unspecified caliber. The launcher and ammo both have Hebrew markings, indicating they came from the Israeli military. The suspect, 24, was taken for questioning, police say. |
