| #6 Our government announces the success of these strikes with great gusto, but such success depends on whether they achieve their purpose. That purpose was, I presume, to discourage attacks on American targets by our enemies. The organizations attacked claim that they will continue attacks on on us. While they may be lying, this reaction is not a sign that the attacks acheived their aimss. |
