| #8 When they moved the headquarters from Washington state (where the factories are) to Chicago it meant the sales guys had won. You now see the result. The HQ move to DC means they've thrown in the towel on civilian product, and want to concentrate on mil equipment. The only real reason they continue to make civilian aircraft is they've got so much sunk into the development and production lines. Look for them to try to spin off the civil side over the next ten years or so. |
