#18  ...that's the rational of some blacks. Trump is being treated like one of them.

#17  Yes, the party that keeps electing the likes of Marion Barry and Kweisi Mfume suddenly has a revelation about crime and eligibility for office.

When it's Trump...

#16  When I was living in Birmingham, Alabama back in the '80s the successive mayors were all Democrat. All of them were charged and convicted of crimes. Since Birmingham is majority Wakandan I leave you with that tidbit.

#15  Re #5 & 11: In engineering, it's called a "Positive Feedback Loop". Its end stage is the destruction of the device.

#14  Urbanism is a failed model. Because so many are totally invested in it, it's death will be prolonged and painful.

#10  In basic crime statistics this list is valid but in reality Washington DC is the most dangerous city in the history of the world.

#8  Re #2 - but it's damn well the first place you start looking

#7  I note Dallas is not on the list, perhaps because the mayor has just changed parties - to (R).

Or is he trying to save the city? Because Dallas is The Big (D).

#6  Don't know much about 1-14, but you damn sure don't want anything to do with #15.

#5  So, are the cities dangerous because they have dem mayors or because they are populated with people who vote dem?

#4  Using CITY-DATA.COM reveals several other related issues that seem to flourish under the Liberal Democrat Voter Plantation rule.

Eg:
* Higher than normal sex offender to population ratios.
* Lower income and lower education ratings.
* High percentages for NON-married family unit births.
* Low Liveable wage employment.
* Higher than normal government assistance Recipients.

Just to name a few.

#3  I suspect Baby Boomers suffer from the same historical amnesia that the current generation suffers from. Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely. Big cities prior to WW2 were corrupt. There just weren't as many big cities. There was also a short time in the 50s and early 60s when a lot of men who came back from the war wanted to make a difference in providing good governance. Enough to get at least a critical mass. That was a historical anomaly that the Baby Boomers lived through. It ain't natural.
