No Air For You! |
2023-12-15 |
[Twitchy] Breathing. It's kind of important for survival. And we're fans. But, we've also said for a while you are the carbon the environmental Left wants to reduce. And now breathing -- that basic function of life -- is a threat to the environment. 0.1% of the greenhouse gas emissions. One tenth of one percent. Are they going to start taxing our exhalations? Whether it's eating less meat or cycling instead of driving, humans can do many things to help prevent climate change. Unfortunately, breathing less isn't one of them. That might be a problem, as a new study claims the gases in air exhaled from human lungs is fueling global warming. Methane and nitrous oxide in the air we exhale makes up to 0.1 per cent of the UK's greenhouse gas emissions, scientists say. And that's not even accounting for the gas we release from burps and farts, or emissions that come from our skin without us noticing. They've let the mask slip in the past, but now they're just coming out and saying it: you are the problem. 0.1% of the 0.04% of the atmosphere that is CO2. We are now living in the most scientifically ignorant era in history. |

#7 50 million tons of water vapor from Tonga's eruption could warm Earth for years and gave us the pretty moon halo. |

#6 Seeking, when the Volcano erupted in the pacific last year it raised the water in the atmosphere by over 10%. This caused an immediate cooling effect on our atmosphere, it absorbed the heat, then once stabilized out planets temp went up as you say because it retains the heat. It was also responsible for the wet winter we had last year and the experts, not the climate gas lighters, are saying we will have for the next few years until the atmosphere gets back to normal. |

#1 I wonder just how much of the atmosphere is water vapor? Seems that water vapor is an even bigger 'greenhouse gas' than co2 or methane. Water vapor retain more heat than any of the other 'greenhouse' gases combined. (And release more heat as well.) Yet there soesn;t seem to me much efforts taken to reduce water vapor. I wonder why that is so? |
