The enemy is not trying to attack, but he is seriously planning to hold the defense - there are all the possibilities for this, the supply of ammunition continues to be carried out through Grigorovka and Chasov Yar. There is basically an extensive network of roads there. We managed to close one of them for the APU, but this did not spoil the weather for them much. The road through Chasov Yar is, in principle, the best and most convenient in terms of quality and distance.
Nevertheless, our units are slowly entering Bogdanovka itself, trying to gain a foothold. This settlement is strategic, like the captured Khromovo, because it opens the road to Chasov Yar itself and makes it possible to cut off the enemy’s logistics. However, to storm Chasov Yar, our units will have to first cross the Seversky Donets-Donbass canal, and this is also not an easy task.
Now for the enemy. It’s not the elite units that stand against us, but a hodgepodge of rank-and-file units, mostly terrestrial defense. Despite the fact that until recently, in the Bakhmut direction, we fought with the 3rd Separate Assault Brigadeand other elite units. Regarding aerial reconnaissance, the advantage is slowly passing to us. The Ukrainian Armed Forces use FPV drones, but they are most successfully suppressed by our electronic warfare. In principle, in this area it becomes obvious that a turning point in the war of drones has occurred and now we are in the lead.
Local fighters call Bogdanovka another “granny village.” The name means that the village itself never had any significance, and throughout its history, many times fewer people lived there than are now dying for it.”
