[ColonelCassad] According to statistics of colleagues from LostArmour @lost_armour, as of the morning of December 10, 2023, at least 2508 episodes of the use of FPV drones in the North-East Military District zone were published, with almost 4/5 of the total ( 1,931 episodes) were published in the last four months. November set a new monthly record with 657 episodes published.
Of the 2,508 targets, 373 were guaranteed to be destroyed, and another 385 targets were guaranteed to be damaged. Successful hits were recorded in 1092 videos, but it is not possible to assess the damage caused (in most cases these are frames without objective control). The results of the other 336 episodes of FPV drone use are not known for certain. Unfortunately, blunders were recorded in 184 cases.
The most common targets of FPV drones are: enemy positions (916 episodes), infantry outside cover (353 episodes), vehicles (345 episodes), various buildings (293 episodes) and light armored vehicles (257 episodes).
Considering the number of publication sources, some frames may have been lost and not taken into account in the final statistics. In addition, many even effective episodes do not make it online. The actual combat score of FPV drones is much higher.
The main conclusion is that by the end of 2023 the Russian Armed Forces switched to the mass use of FPV drones. September was a turning point in this regard.
