Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is apparently (based on research now almost a decade old) an acquired, more or less partial misbehaviour/deficiency of the immune system, Grom. So very likely this, too, is not full-blown AIDS as we know the sexually transmitted disease of that name. That’s my guess based on this second or third-hand description of the original research. I would suggest tracking down the original study as described in the Telegraph article the tweet references, and see what the data and conclusions look like, then report back. Journalists do enjoy getting overexcited about the SCIENCE!!! they claim to so f*cking love. |
