Israeli forces ready to resume war: defence minister
2023-11-30
[GEO.TV] Israel’s defence minister said in a post on X that Israeli forces “in the air, on land and at sea are ready to resume fighting”.

He also said that Israel is making every effort to use the current truce to secure the return of all captives held in Gaza.

Netanyahu unequivocally says Israel will 'return to fighting'
[GEO.TV] Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu has pledged to return to fighting in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
after the end of the pause, Al Jazeera reported.

"From the beginning of the war, I set three goals — the elimination of Hamas
...always the voice of sweet reason...
, the return of all our abductees, and to ensure that Gaza will never again be a threat to Israel. These three goals remain in place," he said in a video statement.

"In the last week, we achieved a very great achievement — the return of many dozens of our abductees. A week ago it would have sounded imaginary, but we achieved it. But in the last few days I hear a question — after this phase of returning our abductees is exhausted, will Israel return to fighting? So my answer is an unequivocal yes," Netanyahu added.

"There is no way we are not going back to fighting until the end. This is my policy, the entire cabinet stands behind it, the entire government stands behind it, the soldiers stand behind it, the people stand behind it — this is exactly what we will do."

#2  I'm sure everyone frets that the "cease fire" mostly benefited HAMASS, but I'm sure the IDF also took the time to rest up, top off ammo supplies, and stock extra rations and a spare pair of socks. The band is ready to return from intermission and it's time to resume the dance.

#1  And finish them off, unless you want this hellish scenario repeated in the fairly near future.
